Netflix and Spotify gave Wednesday Season 2, Part 2 a fittingly spooky celebration, inviting 300 fans, influencers, and press — including top Gaga and Wednesday listeners on Spotify — to Guastavino’s in New York City for a Graveyard Gala. Wednesday Addams herself, Jenna Ortega, was in attendance, alongside fellow cast members Emma Myers (Enid Sinclair), and Joy Sunday (Bianca Barclay).

The evening began with guests stepping into a fully immersive Tim Burton–inspired world. The party was shrouded in fog, with raven props perched on headstones etched with Wednesday Easter eggs scattered throughout the haunted gala. Attendees enjoyed Wednesday-themed snacks and cocktails under flickering lanterns as they wandered through moss-covered trees and spider-webbed iron fences. Poets wrote custom, epitaph-worthy haiku for attendees on typewriters, while aura readers revealed which Wednesday character matched each guest’s energy.

“I’m sure you can tell if you listen to the music that I’m from here,” the New York native, 39, told the sold-out crowd, becoming visibly emotional. “Everything about my artistry, I think, was born in this town.”

Lady Gaga to Release New Song, ‘Dead Dance,’ for ‘Wednesday’ Season 2

It’s hardly a surprise given the widespread fan speculation, but two sources close to the situation confirm to Variety that Lady Gaga will release a song titled “Dead Dance” that will appear in the forthcoming season 2 of the Tim Burton-helmed Netflix series “Wednesday.”

The song and video are expected to be released next month to coincide with her appearance in the show as Rosaline Rotwood, a “legendary Nevermore teacher who crosses paths with Wednesday.”

Gaga Debuted New Track ‘Kill For Love’ at Last Night’s Mayhem Ball in Las Vegas

On July 16, Lady Gaga kicked off her highly anticipated Mayhem Ball Tour at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Of the many songs on the set list, one was a surprise. She performed “Kill For Love,” the Mayhem bonus track, in full for the first time.

In the song, Gaga is a “monster on the prowl” and sings about how she would “kill for love.” In the first verse, she sings: “The moon is callin’, all the bad boys come to play / You caught me howlin’, there’s a wolf inside of me / You know what I am, baby, and I know you’re gonna be mine.”

Lady Gaga to wear an Armani piano on her head

It looks as if Lady Gaga will wear a piano — or at least a facsimile of a keyboard — on her head on her upcoming Born This Way Ball tour, which starts in Seoul on April 27. Giorgio Armani, who first designed for Lady G. at the 2010 Grammy Awards and who dressed her for the Monster Ball tour that year, released this sketch of one of the costumes he’s designed for the upcoming tour. A press release describes the outfit thusly: “On the…black bodice, transparent Plexiglas, black crystals and luminous studs create a Cubist composition of abstract guitars. The matching headpiece follows in the shape of a keyboard; the boots are black vinyl.” Three other costumes by Armani are almost as extravagant.
