Lady Gaga Starring in Japanese FamilyMart’s Newest Commercial!

Alexander

Gaga has picked up a new job, and it’s behind the counter of a Japanese convenience store. Today (September 25) FamilyMart Japan launched its new recruitment campaign nationwide, starring Lady Gaga as the chain’s newest staff member. The campaign is part of FamilyMart’s 45th anniversary celebrations. It shows the everyday work of convenience store staff, done the way only Gaga could do it.

In the commercial, Gaga dances through a full shift at FamilyMart to her track “Killah.” She works the cash register, mops the floors and restocks the shelves, all while wearing tall white high heels. It’s a theatrical, fashion-forward take on a regular day at the konbini, and we can’t stop watching it.

‘Mayhem Requiem’ – Gaga Reinvents Herself!

Alexander

Lady Gaga brought the drama to The Grove in Los Angeles on Thursday night (May 14), taking over the AMC theater there for a special screening of her concert film MAYHEM Requiem.

MAYHEM Requiem was filmed in January at the Wiltern in Los Angeles. In partnership with Apple Music, Gaga played a one-night-only, phone-free show for about 1,850 lucky fans, many of them in costume, and reimagined her No. 1 album MAYHEM from start to finish. With no phones in sight, it was one of the most intimate shows of the era. Four months later, everyone can now experience it, as a live album recorded that night and as a concert film shown in select AMC theaters for one night only.

Lady Gaga is bringing Harlequin to the big screen. The superstar is set to present Harlequin Live: One Night Only, a special concert film that captures her full live performance of the Harlequin album, filmed in September 2024 at the iconic Belasco Theater in Los Angeles.

The album Harlequin marked yet another milestone in Gaga’s career, debuting at No. 1 on both Billboard’s Jazz Albums and Traditional Jazz Albums charts—her third chart-topper in those categories. The project serves as a companion to Joker: Folie à Deux, the 2024 sequel to the Oscar-winning Joker (2019), in which Gaga stars alongside Joaquin Phoenix as Harley “Lee” Quinzel. In true Gaga fashion, the album was surprise released just one week before the film’s theatrical debut.

Alexander

On October 31st, Lady Gaga and YouTube brought “MAYHEM” to life with an epic Halloween celebration in the hallowed halls of La Paloma in Barcelona, Spain. The night of larger-than-life spiders, skulls, costumes and dancing ended with four lucky fans earning a spot on stage at tonight’s stop on “The MAYHEM Ball” World Tour.

Halloween is more than a holiday—it’s an aesthetic. It’s about finding beauty in the dark and power in the theatrical. Much like the world Lady Gaga has built for over a decade.

Gaga’s back at it for spooky season — and this time, she’s teamed up with Wednesday star Catherine Zeta-Jones for a Halloween surprise that has fans buzzing!

On October 31, Netflix dropped a hilarious new ASMR video featuring the two Oscar winners channeling their inner Addams Family energy. Gaga returns to The Bitter End with Stephen Colbert!

Alexander

Lady Gaga sat down with Stephen Colbert for a deep dive on her career, her earliest days performing in New York City, her desire to start a family, and her perfect bagel order on The Late Show. She also passed judgment on Colbert’s efforts to pull off some of her most famous looks.

The interview took place at the Bitter End, the famed NYC nightclub where Gaga first started performing as a 14-year-old. For the occasion, Gaga shared some fliers from her earliest performance — when she was still using her real name Stefani Germanotta — as well as other ephemera, like a clipboard for interested fans to write down their names and emails, as well as a photo from right before she signed her first record deal.

Video: Unseen footage of Gaga planning cancelled 2009 ‘Fame Kills’ tour

Alexander

A new documentary shows previously unseen footage of Lady Gaga planning the joint tour she and Kanye West were due to embark on in 2009. The ‘Fame Kills’ tour would have seen Gaga and West co-headline a series of dates across North America in support of the pop star’s ‘The Fame Monster‘ EP and the rapper’s ‘808s and Heartbreak‘ album.

The planned tour never took place, however. It was cancelled shortly after West interrupted Taylor Swift‘s winner’s speech at the MTV Video Music Awards. No reason was given for the cancellation at the time.

Lady Gaga Performs Stripped-Down “Vanish Into You” on Colbert’s The Late Show!

Alexander

Lady Gaga stopped by The Late Show to perform her song “Vanish Into You.” Hot off her win for Artist of the Year at the MTV VMAs on Sunday night, Gaga performed an intimate, emotional rendition of the piano-led ballad.

“Vanish Into You” appeared on Lady Gaga’s most recent LP, Mayhem, which dropped in March. The song was written by Gaga alongside Andrew Watt, Henry Walter, and Michael Polansky, and produced by Gaga with Watt and Cirkut. The track was notably the first song she wrote for the album and seemingly references her fiancé Michael Polansky. “In ‘Vanish Into You,’ I imagine that I just want to disappear into the person I love most,” the singer told ELLE.

Lady Gaga wins 4 MTV Video Music Awards!

Alexander

Lady Gaga made it from UBS Arena to Madison Square Garden just in time to kick off her latest Mayhem Ball concert after making a brief stop at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards. The musician stayed for the beginning of the show to accept the award for Artist of the Year, but also won in the technical categories for Best Direction and Best Art Direction. When she hit the stage at MSG, she brought her three new VMAs trophies with her.

During “Perfect Celebrity,” a part of the set where Gaga rolls around in a box full of sand, she positioned the shiny silver Moon People as props. “Find my clone she’s asleep on the ceiling now/Can’t get me down,” she sang while thrusting one award towards the camera. “You love to hate me/I’m the perfect celebrity.” She threw handfuls of sand at the awards and choked out the skeleton positioned next to her. It was the kind of theatrics that made her VMAs history so unforgettable.

Premiere: ‘The Dead Dance’ Music Video Out Now!

Alexander

Lady Gaga is back with a new song. What’s more, her single “The Dead Dance” gets the music video treatment courtesy of Tim Burton, marking the first time the two creatives have ever worked together. The black-and-white visual plays into both artists’ aesthetics while keeping ties to Wednesday, the Netflix series starring Jenna Ortega as the Addams Family character of the same name. Watch the video below.

“The Dead Dance” was written by Lady Gaga, Andrew Watt, and Henry Walter, with producer credits going to Gaga, Watt, and Cirkut. The pop star’s contribution to Wednesday’s soundtrack also dovetails with her cameo in the show. Gaga stars as the white-haired character Rosaline Rotwood, a legendary Nevermore teacher, after teasing her role at the Netflix Tudum 2025 event and performing her single “Abracadabra” and “Zombieboy” with portions of the Addams Family theme song.

Photos: Gaga kicked off first night of Miami shows!

Alexander

It’s been almost three years to the day since Lady Gaga last played a show in Miami, and it was a dramatic one. As the singer sat down at her piano for the stripped-down portion of her set, lightning in the area threatened to shut down the concert. Gaga laughed it off at first, but after a two-hour rain delay, the final show of her Chromatica Ball tour ended before the last set and encore. It was a symbolic end for an album era marred by the start of the COVID pandemic.

September showers followed Gaga to Miami once again Sunday night, but under otherwise starkly different conditions. This time, the singer is touring in support of her seventh studio album, Mayhem, her biggest critical and commercial success since 2011’s Born This Way.
