Jim Gibbons defended his most recent video podcast on his Web site in which he explained his reasoning behind his budget cut proposals to higher education. In his primary argument, Gibbons cited a song by pop artist Lady Gaga as his main influence.

Lady GaGa is to join the Pet Shop Boys on stage for their BRIT Awards performance, a new tabloid report says. At first it was thought Las Vegas rockers The Killers would be collaborating with the synth pop duo, but frontman Neil Tenant denied the two bands would be working together.
