Today celebrates the Worldwide release of Gaga’s second studio effort, The Fame Monster. Originally labeled as a re-release, The Fame Monster was announced by Gaga during the summer of 2009. However, during the early promotion for the album, Gaga announced that after many fights with her label, the 8 song repack would be available as a standalone album. Gaga felt that the songs didn’t need The Fame to lean on and be great. The album opened new windows of creativity for Gaga and the Haus. Those windows made her stand out even more from her other peers. The album debuted at number 5 on the Billboard 200 chart and spawned 3 top 10 singles. Anderson Cooper sat down with The Insider while attending the CNN Heroes event in Los Angeles to confirm that the interview he filmed with Gaga will air on February 13th, which happens to be Grammy night. In the clip below, Anderson mentions that Lady Gaga got him to drink Jameson while taping the interview and that it’s great spending time and learning about somebody who has been such an influence on pop culture. According to sources at JustJared.com, Gaga is set to cover the March 2011 issue of Vogue. Reports surfaced that Gaga was seen outside the Museum of Fine Arts in Antwerp, Belgium. An on set source revealed that Gaga was sporting a gray wig and that Mario Testino was also on set, alongside Gaga’s stylist, Nicola Formichetti.
