According to insiders, the cocktail bar was closed to the public for the evening so that the singer and her partner could have ‘total privacy’ for their date.

Lady Gaga sat down with Stephen Colbert for a deep dive on her career, her earliest days performing in New York City, her desire to start a family, and her perfect bagel order on The Late Show. She also passed judgment on Colbert’s efforts to pull off some of her most famous looks.

The interview took place at the Bitter End, the famed NYC nightclub where Gaga first started performing as a 14-year-old. For the occasion, Gaga shared some fliers from her earliest performance — when she was still using her real name Stefani Germanotta — as well as other ephemera, like a clipboard for interested fans to write down their names and emails, as well as a photo from right before she signed her first record deal.

The MAYHEM Ball grossed more than $100 million

On Monday (Sept. 29), Lady Gaga kicked off her the European leg of The Mayhem Ball at London’s O2 Arena. But even before the 24 shows in 10 cities across eight countries, 2025 is already a milestone year on the road for Mother Monster.

Taking into account the success of the tour’s first North American leg, extensions around the world, and the warm-up shows from earlier in the year, 2025 will be Gaga’s biggest-ever year on tour. According to figures reported to Billboard Boxscore, Lady Gaga’s 27 shows in the United States and Canada brought in $103.4 million and sold 378,000 tickets. That makes it the highest-grossing leg of any Gaga tour, in North America or otherwise.

A new documentary shows previously unseen footage of Lady Gaga planning the joint tour she and Kanye West were due to embark on in 2009. The ‘Fame Kills’ tour would have seen Gaga and West co-headline a series of dates across North America in support of the pop star’s ‘The Fame Monster‘ EP and the rapper’s ‘808s and Heartbreak‘ album.

The planned tour never took place, however. It was cancelled shortly after West interrupted Taylor Swift‘s winner’s speech at the MTV Video Music Awards. No reason was given for the cancellation at the time.

The new dates, which follow jaunts in Europe, Australia and Japan, launch on Valentine’s Day, 2026 (February 14), with two nights at Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, AZ, and continue across the continent, with return engagements at New York’s Madison Square Garden and Los Angeles’ Forum.
