The New York Issue of V Magazine features 3 versions of the cover with Gaga and Marc Jacobs. New York artists Nate Lowman, Spencer Sweeney and Dan Colen customized their own limited edition V covers in V Magazine’s exclusive artist series.
The response to the September 2010 cover—featuring pop star Lady Gaga in full Godiva mode—has been gratifyingly positive. So positive, in fact, that it’s hard to believe that the image itself was the subject of a lively debate here in the Vanity Fair offices.
