Lady GaGa is to join the Pet Shop Boys on stage for their BRIT Awards performance, a new tabloid report says. At first it was thought Las Vegas rockers The Killers would be collaborating with the synth pop duo, but frontman Neil Tenant denied the two bands would be working together.
n
Girls Aloud were also rumoured to be taking part, but according to an industry insider, it’s pop star of the moment Lady GaGa who has been chosen for the special performance.
n
“It is going to be the raunchiest show the Brits has ever seen.” The source opened up to The Sun. “The organisers wanted a female singer who would really shock to sing this track about the Keeler sex scandal.”
n
“GaGa is the girl. She will be perfect.” They added. “Don’t expect many clothes.” The paper also says the theme of the performance is a music festival, with the stage shaped like Glastonbury’s Pyramid stage and filled with farm animals.
n
It’s reported Pet Shop Boys and GaGa will cover the track ‘Nothing Has Been Proved’ – a 1989 hit for Dusty Springfield, as produced by the pair.
