First of all, epic video. Epic. This video is art in it’s rawest form. Gaga is out of this world. Her beauty, her make-up, her fashion…everything is just completely ahead of the curve.

And “To Be Continued…” I can’t help but think that this ending paves the way for the “Alejandro” video. If Gaga and Beyonce are on the run heading south, naturally they’d be crossing over the border into Mexico. Perfect set-up for Gaga to meet Alejandro along the way. Perhaps, this will be a three-part saga.

i hope it won’t be alejandro thats the one song i always skip. it better be MONSTER.

Monster is not going to be a single, I don’t even get why people think it would; it has a horribly weak chorus.

The movie is a commentary on stereotypical views of women. It is most likely a satire that is meant to contrast what we saw in the women’s prison with certain stereotypical views of women.

Stereotypes in the second half:
Women belong in the kitchen
“Make me a sandwich”
Stereotypical man grabbed the girl’s butt and beat up another guy for seemingly no reason
all male chefs are gay
motel scene- all women are skanks/whores/etc

The scenes in the video are exaggerated for a reason, you just have to peel it apart. There’s probably even a deeper meaning than what i have been able to pull.

This is un-freakin’-real! Leave it to Lady Gaga to give me more respect for a woman who I’d always written off (Beyonce). She rocks those Bettie Page bangs like nobody’s business! I adore the Thelma and Louise theme of female empowerment, fighting back and friendship that never dies. Beyonce’s theme – honeybee – is played to perfection with her yellow and black makeup, wardrobe, comments about honey, and her nomming of sugary pastry. Lady Gaga never looked as good as she does dancing in the jail wearing only that studded bikini. Hot, hot hot! Her body is to die for.

And the comment at the beginning – “I told you she doesn’t have a d–k” – is hysterical. The version of the video on this page edits out the scene where she’s clinging to the jail cell bars with her crotch exposed.

I like this video better then Bad Romance. Bad Romance was too chaotic. This video also has a lot going on but the storytelling is much better. Also I like the style much more, the heavy colors and the Tarantino style, the pussy wagon and the diner scene obviously is inspired by Pulp Fiction.

But again, just as Bad Romance, she must learn not to overdose in her video’s. Less is more.
