Over two million youth (between the ages of 12 and 24) will experience at least one episode of homelessness each year and over 100,000 youth sleep on the street for 6 months or more in America. Youth homelessness is the result of other societal problems like poverty, drug abuse and addiction, homophobia, mental illness and domestic violence. Young people who’ve grown up homeless often spend much of their adult lives homeless.

The RE*Generation is Virgin Mobile’s effort to empower a generation to help its own. We’re bringing together organizations that care about homeless youth, and connecting them with young people who want to help.

There are plenty of homeless youth agencies that need your help. In exchange for a few hours of your time, we’re offering select volunteers the opportunity to join us at one of Lady Gaga’s upcoming shows. This offer is only open in select cities. Important information on how to get started as well as key information on how this offer works in each city is given below. Select volunteers who sign up for a volunteer project AND complete the minimum required hours (or submit the minimum required number of Service Kits, as applicable) could earn a ticket, so be sure to sign up right away and show up for your activity! Ticket supplies are limited, and volunteer opportunities will fill up fast.

HOW TO GET STARTED

STEP 1: Check out the participating cities below where volunteer projects are being offered.

STEP 2: Fill out the sign up form for your city and sign up for projects.

STEP 3: Within 24 hours of submitting the form, you will be notified via email if you are approved to log-in to the system. Once you get approval, you can log-in, check and make changes to your schedule, and sign up for more projects.

YOU SHOULD KNOW…

* We have limited space available for each volunteer project. If the maximum number of participants allowed for any volunteer project have signed up, it will be marked as “closed, but in need of alternates” next to the city below, which means that the volunteer project is currently full. If you choose, you can sign up as an alternate. If you sign up as an alternate, you will be notified if a space opens up in the volunteer project. See the Terms and Conditions for more details.
* All volunteers must be 16 or older to participate. Volunteers who are under 18 years old must submit a signed Parent Consent Form before participating in a volunteer activity. (Click here to download form.)
* The first volunteers for each participating city, who complete the minimum service requirement (or submit the minimum required number of Service Kits, as applicable) will receive ONE ticket, while supplies last. If you want to bring a friend, make sure they sign up to volunteer as well.
* Qualified ticket recipients will receive one (1) ticket to a show on the date specified by Sponsor.
* You must live within 100 miles of the city center of one of the participating cities to qualify.
* You may only participate in ONE city.
